Frequently asked questions

Is CJK (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) text supported?

Yes. An embedded CJK font subset renders non-ASCII watermarks correctly.

Are PDFs uploaded?

No. Watermarking runs in your browser; files are never sent to any server.

Will the watermark cover the original content?

It overlays the original content. Adjust opacity to balance visibility and readability.

Can I add image watermarks?

Not yet — only text watermarks for now. Image watermark support is planned.
